In our pursuit of conscientious promotions, selecting the appropriate materials stands as a vital component of our strategy. We prioritise functionality and quality, gradually transitioning our collection to incorporate newer, more sustainable materials whenever feasible. This involves opting for high-quality materials that are recycled or recyclable, sourced from renewable origins, and ethically procured. At the core of our approach lies the support we offer to our suppliers, aiding them in adopting innovative processes for crafting increasingly sustainable materials.

Sustainable Solutions
By significantly curtailing our reliance on plastic and optimising packaging efficiency, we diminish our environmental impact. Our efforts have already led to a reduction in the proportion of items or packaging containing virgin plastics to 43.3%, with virgin plastics in packaging reduced to 34.9%.
In managing inbound freight, we prioritise minimising plastic packaging, favouring the utilisation or reuse of paper alternatives. For instance, in our Ede sample warehouse, we repurpose shredded cardboard boxes. Outbound freight follows suit, with a commitment to reusing existing packaging and striving for 100% utilisation of recycled or FSC-certified materials.
The bulk of our packaging now comprises sustainable options, crafted from natural, recycled materials, or bio-plastics. When plastic packaging is unavoidable and cannot be repurposed internally, we ensure its recycling or transfer it to a third party for processing, a practice we’ve upheld since 2010.
Promotional materials like catalogues and folders are sourced from sustainable or certified recycled paper, with a recent shift towards digital catalogues enhancing interactivity and reducing printed material. Our evolving approach to catalogue usage, exemplified by offering both digital and printed options, reflects a conscious effort to minimise paper consumption, thereby advancing our sustainability initiatives.
Efficient container loading, reaching 94% utilisation, contributes significantly to reducing CO2 emissions from inbound freight. Furthermore, our partnerships with environmentally conscious forwarders further mitigate the environmental impact of outbound freight.
